Here are the details: The High School is San Ramon Valley in Danville, California. The section is Film as Lit and is listed as a year-long course, and I am trying to transfer in at the semester mark. Despite its listing as "year-long", numerous students have transferred into the class because they failed Senior English and need the credits to graduate. Their transition was seamless. I, on the other hand, am a student who excels in the English field and am merely trying to compliment my current English course with another. My case, however, is becoming increasingly convoluted as I am repeatedly denied and then approved of entry into the course by the teacher, counselor, and counseling department. Most recently I have been denied entry by the principal of the school. I am beginning to lose all faith in the administration of public education. My question is this: is there any legal action that I can take to force the school to allow the enrollment in this class? If there is, could you please tell me the section number of the code that I can use? Thank you. The class is not full (I have talked to the teacher), and I have not missed any deadlines. in re Barry C: all of the students who need the credits have already been accepted into the class. I didn't sign up at the beginning of the year because I was told that my semester-long creative writing class would run second semester as well, which it did not.
